Bio

Elie Tamer is an economist whose research spans econometric theory, applied econometrics, and empirical industrial organization. He was a coeditor of Econometrica, a coeditor at Quantitative Economics, and co-managing editor of the Journal of Econometrics. Tamer is a fellow of the Econometric Society, and a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He is currently chair of Harvard's Department of Economics.
